Inferno
A downloadable game for Windows
Welcome to Limbo, the neutral land of people who practiced neither sin nor virtue in their life. Desperate to escape the darkness, you start delving deeper into Hell, hoping to get another chance at life. Take Lucifer's sword of flame and traverse the layers of hell, defeating various sinners and encountering various mechanics as you descend.
Be warned though, Hell is not an easy place to escape. Your will can only go so far, and death takes a toll. Will you be able to kill Satan, or die trying?
Blending action platforming with a setting, <Inferno> has the player constantly feeling a sense of unease and danger tempered by a sense of accomplishment in overcoming a challenge. Following the themes of the story Dante's inferno, the game tests the your ambition and how far it will take you.

Post Mortem:
Our entire team was rather happy with the quality of work we ended up with. Although we did have to cut down quite a lot, the fruit of our labor felt worth it.
What went right?
We had a very strong foundation for what we wanted in the game. The code started great, everyone understood the vision, and we had a lot of potential content for the game. The theming was also superb, with lots of custom assets and polish working together.
What went wrong?
Over scoping was our biggest issue throughout the project. We had to sit down and cut a lot of interesting content. Using too many different tutorials also led to problems. Since a lot of them aren't made to be scalable or cross compatible, there were a large amount of issues when it came to the vertical slice prototype.
